What is Pilates

Pilates is an exercise-based programme that places emphasis on strengthening your core muscles. It differs from traditional abdominal and leg strengthening due to its focus on alignment and control.

Clinical Pilates is a specialist type of Pilates, typically taught by Physiotherapists who have expertise in movement and body analysis and knowledge of injury and recovery.

Teachers Qualifications: Katy Neale Qualified APPI Pilates Instructor.

What to expect?

The exercises progress from basic mat work where you focus on coordination, breathing and control, to more complex sequences of dynamic exercises using equipment such as resistance bands and exercise balls.

Throughout Pilates the emphasis is on you as an INDIVIDUAL.

Private lessons take place at Borehamwood Physio and group classes are run by Embodied Evolution.

Small Group Classes

7-9 people per class

£12 per session, with a block booked in advance

Classes in Edgware on Tuesday evenings and Borehamwood on Wednesday evening and Friday morning.
