The Natural Gateway Clinic,
121 Theobald St,
After a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, a personalised treatment plan is created.
Using a combination of manual therapy and rehabilitation to ensure the best possible outcome. A focus on recovery and future prevention is key to all treatments. The aim is to get to the root of your problem, taking a holistic view of you and your lifestyle and overall health to ensure wellbeing.
At Borehamwood Physio we treat a wide range of patients, from athletes to those with chronic problems. Common injuries are back and neck pain, sports injuries and pregnancy related pain.
The first physiotherapy assessment lasts for 1 hour to ensure time for both assessment and treatment.
Treatment can include manual therapy such as joint mobilisation and soft tissue therapy, taping and acupuncture. Rehabilitation to speed recovery is essential and helps future prevention and includes bespoke exercise prescription combining stretches, strength and conditioning and Pilates. Advice and education are important to help you understand why you are in pain and ergonomic and postural reviews are also part of some treatments.
Borehamwood Physio is part of Physio Academy, a group of specialist clinicians linked together by our emphasis on therapy for recovery and prevention.
Pilates Classes and one to one Pilates session help you to regain strength, improve flexibility, reduce back pain, improve posture and wellbeing.
One to one sessions are held at The Natural Gateway Clinic. Classes are held in Borehamwood and Edgware.
